And Now a Video Review

1. The four films that choose to watch was (1) "Dada and Surrealism" because of the interseting movement this form of art has brought to a society of traditional art. (2) "The Impact of Cubism" because of the focus on shape in art and how it has impacted the things are made today. (3) "The Mystical North: Spanish Art from the 19th Century to the Present" because of it's uniqure art that brings a message of the times. Lastly, (4) "Expressionism" which focus on the color and the way it is use to express a portrait.

2. In "Dada and Surrealism", the key concepts are collage which uses different martrials and put them together to make art, also assemblage which deals with a three dimensional art form. In "The Impact of Cubism", the key concept is spiral form, which a style or shape used in art; also juxtapositions which is two objects that are side by side. In "The Mystical North: Spanish Art from the 19th Century to the Present" the key concept is "black paintings" which are paintings that interuprt the dark side of potrying evil in paintinds. Lastly, "Expressionism" the key concept is lithography which incoorapte stone for printing.

3. The videos relate to the textbook readings in which they incooperate the origin of where these art movements came from. They both also discuss on the individual artist who conrtribute to the art movement of their time.

4. While watching these films, it is very interesting viewing how these forms of art and the movement they started in the 19th and 20th century has impacted modern art. The films give depth to the readings by bringing more information to the artist's life, work , and contributions to society.
