Emotions in Color

1. Color has the ability to express the emotion of art. Color also attracts the eye and is apart of the various elements in art. It's effect on emotions plays a great part in the works of art such as; dark pigments of grey or black can represent a feeling of sadness or evil, it can also represent something that is unattractive to one's eye. On the other hand, pigments of bright or loud colors such as green or yellow represent a feeling of luck, joy, or happiness. Bright colors also represents a form of beauty to one's eye.

2. What fascinates me about color is how it is used in shape or form. Also, it is fascinating how a small object represented in the form of a painting can bring life to a picture based on a certain color.

3. In viewing the video on color, the biggest impact was how different textures can attract one's eye. Besides the darkness and brightness of colors, texture has a way of attracting one's emotions of being amazed or excited when viewing art.

4. The biggest impact for me after view the film on feelings through color is that color can inspire us to change our way of thinking and way of life. It inspires us to take the time to appreciate the world around us.
